Growing up in a small community then having to adjust here was intimidating. Making new friends was a little harder than I thought, mostly because I wasn’t much of a social person. I started off with one friend who then introduced me to her friends and that’s how my circle grew. I also volunteered and I met a lot of people, some of whom I am still close with. Now my social life is an entertaining hub and still growing. Dating on the other hand is a whole different thing…..that’s a story for another day.
I am glad I made the decision to move here. My life is better than it ever was. I am still learning and growing as I go along. Toronto is home!
